Seoul, Korea – Roboligent, a specialized AI and soft manipulator-based humanoid robot company, announced that it is collaborating with Tesollo, a domestic robot gripper specialist, to unveil a dual-arm humanoid robot capable of delicate object manipulation.
The two companies will jointly participate in 'RobotWorld 2025,' held at KINTEX, Ilsan, from today (the 5th) to the 8th. They plan to demonstrate real-time manipulation using Roboligent's dual-arm AI humanoid robot 'ROBIN' equipped with Tesollo's 'DG-5F' gripper.
Roboligent and Tesollo have been engaged in technical cooperation in precision manipulation since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business collaboration last August. This demonstration marks the first tangible result of their partnership and is expected to prove the commercial viability of dual-arm humanoid robots by achieving the level of precision manipulation required in industrial settings. Roboligent plans to continue advancing functionalities based on market demand and developing customized robot solutions through future collaborations with various domestic and international companies.
Established in Austin, Texas, in 2017, Roboligent is a global robot startup that develops AI-based manipulators and humanoid robots with its proprietary technology. ROBIN, a dual-arm humanoid robot that combines Roboligent's autonomous mobile robot (AMR) technology, features a structure capable of performing precise tasks and is currently undergoing Proof of Concept (PoC) projects in various industrial sites both domestically and internationally.
It is also known that Roboligent recently embarked on mass production verification for actual application in factories with a major domestic conglomerate. The company plans to continuously enhance functionalities based on market demand and develop customized robot solutions through collaborations with various domestic and international companies.
Bongsu Kim, CEO of Roboligent, stated, "Tesollo's excellent robot hand technology will significantly enhance ROBIN's precision manipulation accuracy. Both companies will continue to collaborate closely to introduce humanoid technology that creates tangible value in industrial fields."
